I'm back in Burlington, MA where I spent the first 18 yrs of my life. It's also where I started my running career so of course I always go running while I'm here. As I ran some familiar streets and down around my high school I noticed everything has aged. Buildings, streets, the school, the trees, it all just looks older.
I wonder, as I run, how it's possible I still look the same and am running at the same 6:00/mile pace around town, but everything else has aged so much. Is it possible that I actually am 51 yrs old and I'm not running 6:00/mile, but 8:00/mile?
I don't think so.
